My first business was at the age of 21 - and I quickly learned that ignorance is a blessing to the youth.

It all started with a business plan written to scale someone else's business. When I handed to my boss, it was immediately rejected. The irony is, that a year later I executed that same business plan. I opened a brick and mortar snowboard and skateboard shop just as the action sports industry was about to go through hockey stick growth. 

After 5 years my days started to feel more like a rollercoaster than a victory lap and so I successfully exited.

After 10 years I grew bored. As fate would have it I accidentally stumbled across what would turn out to be my next big thing.

Not knowing much about food, cooking or manufacturing for that matter I started a food franchise. I poured my heart and soul into this turn-key business and it took off exponentially.

Over time I built systems and processes with help from mentor who just so happened to have successfully executed hundreds of M&A deals. With his guidance I grew to over 400 franchisees across 5 countries, a cooking school and a stand alone manufacturing facility. 

Creating so much opportunity and community was a highlight of my career.  By the age of 40, I once again reached a place of burnout and I positioned my company for a quick exit.

My dabble years followed....

A few years and a dozen countries later, I started 2 businesses - an Amazon FBA business and a recurring revenue real estate business.

I exited the Amazon FBA business and still maintain my recurring revenue real estate business.

All of that lead me here....
